DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with an iPhone/iPad wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

DS audio app good for
...it would be great if the app can also show covers from artist and albums while scrolling through the music. At the moment the app shows covers but only if i not scrolling. Please fix this..Synology Video Station App shows covers while scrolling through the lists of videos without problems .. thx! :)
This is a great app, launched right in the nick of time! This really solved a lot of sync problems and issues you mightive had trying anything else. Of really makes life simple!

This is a great little player. Allows me to connect to my music from anywhere. has good features. would like to see more features in the player such as Equalizer settings. Thanks Synology
Access your music library on the NAS and with the new caching feature, no need to transfer music to the iDevice with iTunes, it saves up to a predetermined number of songs locally so you dont have to download them every time you want to listen to them.
The app is constantly improved. Synology has a very active and creative team, great products.
Love the app. Does everything I want but please add an EQ option similar to music player. Thanks!
Is a nice addition to not have to sync with iTunes to get your music! Works great with my DS213j
Some bad moments
Impossibru to define the destination to a DLNA device or any Airplay stuff on the NASs network since the DSM6 release and the v5.11.1 of this app.
Feedbacks have been made several times, not a single fog seems to be given on this major functionnality for days now. Unusual delay from Synology on such a main issue.
It works right after the installation. Then never ever again. Ipad version works very well.
Synology, please go back to the previous layout! Or enable a classic "skin" theme that really works... Dont let this great player die with this version! Thanks!
Rotate does not work.....this software limits how you use your iPad.....if your iPad is mounted or used in landscape often this ap is useless.
The concept is great BUT you cant connect from outside your own network so its nearly useless... It would be interesting only if you could connect with 3G or from outside your own network (such as AirVideo server can do or Simplify Music)
I cannot connect at all, always says "user or password incorrect, try again"
