Add STOP button to the renderer mode. Without it remote playback device (DLNA TV) does not exit the DLNA playback mode - it just pauses music and waits :-)

Dont understand why Synology develops this application instead of development of normal DLNA player. Their NASes supports DLNA - what is the advantage of running one more service (i.e. DS Audio) on the NAS? Btw, this application doesnt support internet radios, you are not able to control it with standard buttons (if you press Home twice and then scroll left). Better to choose some DLNA player.

You cant play your music collection if you disconnect from DS and with Wifi ON it will eat battery pretty quick. Pros - Nice and simple face - Quick response and intuitive Cons - No download of songs from DS - No offline cached music replay - Cannot create/edit/delete playlists - Cannot add songs to playlist (except On-the-go list) - Cannot delete songs from DS Why some people just cannot develop simple, effective and USEFUL apps. Whats the point of having cached 100 songs that you cannot play without constant connection to Synology.

While using app on iPod any streaming via AirPlay cant adjust sound with remote. In addition any volume changes on the speaker are not reflected in the app.

For who has a Synology NAS server. Great app that improve iPhone and/le iPod touch versatility. Stay in wi-fi range and your can listen all your music without phisical load in your device. Bypass itune. TRY IT

Works, but why 6 ios apps for 1 DiskStation? Put them all togheter in 1 app, pls!

An excellent starting point, pls add the possibility to manage 5.1 DSD and DTS files with external media renderers (such as Oppo105). Tks and go on developing it... closer to JRiver! Eccellente... in prospettiva: aggiungete i formati "audiofili" per cortesia!

Just got the app up and running on my DS214 with my iTunes music library. Im currently enjoy playback of my 192/24 bit audio straight from the NAS to USB dac and my tube amp. My dac can show when different bit rates are playing and I can confirm the sample rate of the file is being played by the dac. The app on my iPhone provides a useful means on control of playback. Please keep developing this app and adding more features and refinement.

Clear and responsive interface. Intuitive help system. Easy download/offline file management. All the right kind of settings management. If only iTunes would go this direction. This has replaced the Apple Music app for me, and Im ditching Apple Music for my old collection.

Worked great until recent chromecast audio firmware update. No does not work

Bug fix needed ASAP. Worked great for months and then all of a sudden stopped working. Please update

Its a bit kludgy when it comes to downloading music to your phone. You press download. The music appears in your music section, but isnt actually there to play. Its odd. Streaming works great. Adding songs to playlist seems to download them to your phone fine. Who knows, but its cool to have access to all my music without having to deal with iTunes nonsense.

Pros: easy to use and convenient. Cons: takes long time to login, but once login the App works fine.

Works very well and the UI is well thought out. Best free app I own.

Very slow to login. Takes a minute to login even on WIFI! Decent feature. Need to add remember my last song play.
